Love color film

color film has this smooth creamy feel to it when it is exposed right. i shot a roll of kodak portra 400 last week and was blown away at the colors and lack of editing i had to do in lightroom. even under harsh lighting it seems there is a good transition between the highlights and shadows. Digital for me is harsh and jagged and flat. and i have to do lots of post editing. sorry people of fb if you have seen these before.
amazing old montgomery ward bike. original everything except the seat i think.
the transition between highlights and shadows is amazing to me. you can still see a little detail in the pavement.  I exposed for the sign.
love the texture here in the sand.

the water came out so beautiful.
i love all the colors here. the pink, green and blue.

the more i shoot it the more i fall in love with film. and i love getting prints. something i rarely do when i shoot digital.
photo nerd specs: nikon f3, 40mm vc SLII, kodak portra 400, walgreens process and scan (they did an amazing job this time).
